WORGC Youth Day ~ Staffing
Who: Club Members & Spouses
What: Staffing for Youth Day September 7, 2024
In order for WORGC to help fulfill its mission statement ("To Support Youth In the Outdoors") we need to make a commitment to pass our knowledge of hunting/outdoor skills on to the youth just as our mentors passed it on to us. Youth Day has been in existence since 1995, sign up to be apart of this 26 year tradition.
Staffing Needs:
Registration (checking youth in, distributing shirts/nametags to staff/youth)
Kitchen (prepare food, set up tables/tear-down, serve and clean-up from lunch)
Range Safety Officers (RSO's) - do not participate in anything but standing back to constantly survey entire situation for safety violations and will immediately stop proceedings if something needs corrected.
Walkers (An adult who is in charge of seeing that their ducklings stay together, wash hands before lunch, and get to stations/activities on time)
Note: All volunteers helping with youth programs must hold a current Pennsylvania child abuse history clearance to be in compliance with Title, Pa. C.S. Chapter 63. Child Abuse Clearance. More info can be found on the Youth Volunteers Info page.
